Who are we as disciples of Jesus Christ?

First we must be believers:    Romans 10:9   If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Comforters:   2 Corinthians: 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Anointed & Firm believers:  2 Corinthians 1:21-22   New International Version (NIV)

21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

Ministers: 2 Corinthians 2:17 New International Version (NIV)

17 Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.

Competent: 2 Corinthians 3:4-6 New International Version (NIV)

4 Such confidence we have through Christ before God. 5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Bold: 2 Corinthians 3:12 New International Version (NIV)

12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.

Encouragers: 1 Thessalonians 5:11 So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.

Romans 8:6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

So my friend, who are you?

If I can assist please let me know.

Have a blessed week.
