The Pope & Jesus Recently the Pope came to America and then to the White House for the first time. There were people lined up by the thousands everywhere he went, hoping to get a glance or maybe be touched/blessed by him. What is there in your past that you would have asked the Pope to forgive you ?  What if you never meet the Pope?  What if you knew Jesus instead? Could you list all the sins of your past? And what about the sins you will commit in the future?  Are you concerned others would condemn you for your sins? WELL, we are all guilty. Sept. 29, 2014 Respectfully and with hesitation, i was reluctant to finish this devotion. But it was inspired by a friend as follows: As I sitting a week ago  by the bedside of a dying friend at 4 am, I began to write this devotion in honor of my friend. I was comforted to know he is a follower and believer of Jesus Christ.  What does that mean? To the troops in law enforcement under my care of prayer and concern: My heart is heavy and pierced every time I hear another brother in law enforcement fall. You are constantly on my mind and in my prayers as you continue to carry out your duties.
